Purdue Boilermakers 1968-1969 Retro Shorts (Away) Size:S Steve Lavin's squad was youngLed by the all time college basketball legend, Rick Mount, the 1968 1969 Purdue Boilermakers won the Big Ten Conference championship by going 13 1. Aided by Billy Keller and Herman Gilliam, Mount and the Boilermakers beat Miami Ohio and Marquette to make the Final Four. After destroying North Carolina, 92 65 in the national semifinals, Purdue came up one victory shy of winning the National Championship, suffering a 92 72 loss at the hands of UCLA.
