The table is of demi lune form when closed & opens to form a full circle, the table top having beautiful 'plum pudding' grained mahogany, a highly prized pattern found within certain mahogany wood, particularly Honduran mahogany. This figuring resembles large, swirling drips or blotches in the grain, reminiscent of the fruit
