1990 Felsina Berardenga Rancia, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Italy Jura with soil-driven and uplifted aromaticsThis is the historic Flsina vineyard cuve, originating in 1983 from the steep, southwest facing Rancia site above Castelnuovo Berardenga at around 400 m elevation. Planted with high density vines rooted in limestone (alberese) and galestro marl soils, this finest parcel delivers sculpted Sangiovese with built in tension. Early 1990s vintages were the first under the simple Rancia name. The 1990 displays structured depth while retaining vibrancy,
