Georges Laval Les Chèvres, Brut Nature Champagne, France (2019) Jo Landron limestoneAverage Age of Vines: 25In Cumires, the locality of Hautes Chvres is located above the village, mid upper hill, on clay limestone soil. Renowned for the quality of its Pinots, we cultivate the majority of our plots there. The 2013 vintage comes from our old Pinots Meuniers vines planted between 1930 and 1971. Their very low yield provides a beautiful aromatic palette, which, linked to the mineral tension of the Hautes Chvres terroir, produces real wonders. From the winemaker
