This chair carved of fine walnut is a beautiful example of the Renaissance Revival movement that swept through the decorative arts in the late 19th century. Present in the carved details of this chair are motifs of the green man, a mythical figure representing the masculine energy of the nature. The arms and stretchers also ornately carved and having stylized
