Agapanthus Notfred Asarum The lily of the valleyAgapanthus 'Notfred' (sold as 'Silver Moon') from the UK's Notcutts Nursery is another of several white edged Lily of the Nile introductions. Unlike the others, Agapanthus 'Notfred' has so far survived outdoors for us, although through a milder than normal winter. The 6" tall clumps of narrow foliage are topped in midsummer with 18" tall spikes of medium blue lavender flowers. In our climate, the variegation pattern on the leaves starts as a yellow
