Portuguese Handmade Red Jasper Stone & Pewter Box box Produced by Royal Copenhagen asHandmade in Portugal, this is a lovely, nicely weighty box for jewelry or small treasures. The stone on the top of the box appears to be Red Jasper, and I believe the box is pewter. It features pretty incised detailing around the perimeter of the top, as well as two solid decorative lines along its front. The lid is attached with hinges and opens with ease. Beautiful on a vanity or dresser, in a powder room, as part of a grouping of interesting boxes,
