Big Flower Cabernet Franc, 2024 Albillo overlooking the Pacific OceanSultry with purple flowers, cola, blackberries. Palate is smooth and graceful yet firm with tension, laced with dark berries and subtle herbal qualities. Made by Ginny Povall of Botanica Wines at Protea Heights, a farm on the outskirts of Stellenbosch known for their cultivation of the national flower, the Protea. In 2009, Ginny expanded beyond flowers and began producing incredibly compelling wines from very special, but often overlooked, regions and
