Description
Slightly more concentrated than the 2012
The palate is medium-bodied with light blackberry
this powerfully tannic
mint and a kick of spice are all nicely layered
there is crushed stone and volcanic ash to render an ever-more interesting wine
Samuel Billaud, Chablis Fourneaux Vintage:2014 Slightly more concentrated than the(from Cte de Prs Girots and Morein). A ripe and attractively complex nose also displays noticeable sulfur that somewhat masks the otherwise fresh notes of citrus, pear, apple, ocean breeze and a smoky hint. The complexity continues onto the rich, powerful and solidly well concentrated flavors that possess excellent length on the balanced finish. This intensely saline effort is impressive and should drink well young and aged. 91 2021+
