Plus a door with handle that opens out

all in good sturdy and stable condition and easy to be stacked and arranged all sorts of ways

but  their clothing is suggests they are laborers to me

SOLD Black Pail, Bold and Very Satisfying c. 1930s School Marker on Paper Drawing friendship with lots of them hereThis for me is one of those old kid drawings that feels transcendent. A straight ahead black marker drawing of a simple pail, but the variation in the density saturation of the coloring, and the slight bleeding of the marker along the edges, and those little x's where wire handle hooks to the bucket itself just lovely. And, rendered in such an "iconic" sort of way, the simple pail takes on something of a larger than life significance, as a form object
