I like that this vase also has a sort of farmhouse feel

(It looks/feels to me like the yellow detail on the sides is some a sort of wax that resists paint or scraping

with some damage to the surface of the frame at top and bottom edges

Late 19th c. or so, I believe, and cut of a thin, natural colored paper perhaps by a kindergarten teacher or perhaps as love tokens of sorts, I am not completely sure.
